I think of
women I have met or
meet,
and - but - yet 'tis the beauty of you that now lingers.
In that timeless manner like only spirit would know;
the magic of moments with you is a warm memory,
an oasis I visit if I close my eyes for a moment
and dare to dream of peace;
the senses too have their own mind,
as if in the body we carry
the same energy that sweeps the world,
that
rolls swelling tides and makes cloudy skies swirl
in the changing days of passion when dream we must,
and therein lies a forever kiss
I wish I did not have to miss;
oh my faraway darling, why are you so beautiful?

note: this poem has a longer lasting midi melody (J. S. Bach)
for a background because ... well, just because V.R.
