Forever Free

Warmly a foggy blanket engulfs the bay as you dream in worlds
I know in whispers. Our kisses merge like waves caress the shore.
I walk miles and gulls hover over seeking bread they catch
As my arms I stretch and the sand I press for bubbles between toes.
Come, wispy purple dawn, I embrace your sweeping golden hair,
Fill Breath with fragrant angel sky for you turn the thick starry veil
Of night into a glowing flowing door. My Love lies sleeping.
She sighs as Mother Earth weaves nested vines from root to leaf.
Nations stir like trees. On branch a’ whir the multi-feathered birds
Chirp and scatter a’ flutter. Oh? my Peace will come to you too.
Silent Soul, now renew your vows and with Innocence in your heart
Breathe deeply too; sing the song we sang long ago by another sea.
Let there be no doubt for the Light on shore burns brightly ever,
As if ethereal in nature and no man can sever the beams.
Faith is more firm than the bones of existence for Life
Is but a journey by vessel across the waters of a choppy tide.
Now hear the hum of the beating drum and know the sound
Is from the great white throne of God, yes, lift the sword
For when spoken your words can pierce the distance to be
As you and me come morning light: forever free.
