Wander like the wind
Scattering clouds over the city,
But gently come back to me,
From your sacred temple rituals
By the mirrors of a raging sea.
Smoother than silk are your cheeks
And your wispy hair moves my touch
Like angelic lace once woven for
The drapery of heaven I adore,
As my hands caress you endlessly.
Beautiful love you whisper here
What only my ecstatic soul can feel.
It was a pink hued hour as we chased
Fairies and spells by chandelier bells,
Draped across forest shapes of silk,
I like a deer seeking kisses of milk
And the scent of you in honey places.
The hotel antique hours flickered in brass.
Your kisses were hot and your lips did frame,
My name and the shape of throbbing love
For fulfillment we escaped away to find,
Seeking the dream, in nature as one,
As when The Moon will meet The Sun
To gather in one royal sky the lights
Destined to rule all days and nights.
Oh my ladybird you are the queen
Of my delight and there is none
That can cast a shadow on you.
Shine then for the time we share,
And then vanish if you must but see
That forever you will stay with me.
I stood long and gazing at the air,
Longing for the sun to rise where it set,
Longing to be in that magical place,
That ancient square where your face,
First met my smile and your walk
Drew my eyes and where we talked
For hours knowing there would not
Be anymore but for once it was only time.
Forever lost, forever found, forever mine.
