So Let Us Love-Love, I said

Oh Mary. Mary. Mary. Mary. Mary.

What I was saying when you last turned around:

I will with poet's fingers weave you a crown of jeweled morning down

Culled from the ethereal where only the beautiful is found.

Yes, my quick breath has been kissed by the wind

And my heart filled with light from that Autumn orb

Hiding in a golden curl of clouds above.

My fire is like the glowing winter love.

My lips only whisper what my heart feels

As in boyish wonder I explore your valleys and hills.

Because the flower attracts the hummingbird as you attract me,

I want to fulfill you in your time with me,

Be for me a delight in meadows where swaying summer grass

Dances in graceful waves and the sparrow glides with glee.

I want to be for you like the fortress in the storm,

Like the steady fire in the dark wee hours of the coldest morn,

Like a cozy place where you can sleep safe from the wolves now.

I like to feel your warm hand in mine in country talks we must

Share the miles in harmony and I trust this journey a success

As shared dreams are founded and plans erected by words preceding

A kiss, spoken by courageous and ambitious lovely lips, a voice

Given the musical timbre I treasure by

A determined and courageous heart, by the power of love,

Transmuting concerns for self into kindness unto others.

In my life I want to forever see your beauty thus

Graced and sublimated by Love.

Maybe it is only God that shapes the beauty I long for

And in you so adore,

Perhaps only Divine hands can produce the perfect woman and man,

Yet while we wait for Heaven to take note and do for us in our days

Let us love and hold hands and walk and kiss and love hand in hand.

I could walk and love like this forever or another mile

I said to you and you flashed an eternal smile.
