McAllen's cultural scene is enriched by the arrival of Barnes & Noble Bookstore. On Nov. 2, 2002 B & N shall host it's 1st local open mic   poetry reading event & the UTPA community is invited. Come one, come all! The event is held in the deli area where you can enjoy delicious Starbucks coffee and tasty pastries. Come share your original or all-time favorite poems.

The event is from 2 to 4 p.m. & if you want to participate please come by prior to starting time.
