She is Coming Home She is Coming Home

like coffee into a morning cup oh the passion does not paper press

dear lady I cannot address my desire for you I confess

my bitten lips clench the air and my heart burns bitterly

because on my bed i remember you my dry throat needs another kiss

to soothe my anguished soul you alone can satisfy this need

i seek to pour poetry like balm on this wounded spirit of cupid

there is nobody that matches your love and you’ll find no other like me

capricious blonde of my delight you’ll too toss and burn for me

you cannot deny our union is forever whose touch but mine can inflame

though you do not possess my name you steal the starlight but the heaven

is firmly held by my ebony eyes oh there is nothing that is stronger

than this passionate love surviving all the drama of our adventures

and all that has passed between us

come with me again and again sweet one

slumber in my arms and wake up by my side

and let my kiss fill you up all night
