Venus Glows in Blue
Venus glows in blue above you and Love and Desire for
your beauty
Are
ablaze in my innermost being like when the wind
touches coals.
Such is my spirit and so I breathe deeply in the night
and gaze
At the tapestry of stars as I feel your warm embrace.
You are soft and fragrant as the gardens of Spring.
I stand on this spinning ground in the season and yet I
see
No reason for this wondrous honey flow of love you give
to me.
Is it perhaps because I am the man whose brown hands in
the sun
Have sought to hew rocks to make a place for you to sit
upon?
Is it because your soft fair hair has on my chest come
to rest
When the cold winds howl and the moon’s walk is hidden
by the storm?
I have with aching bones in the night come to admire
Your graceful motion when you stir the gentle fire.
I see a glow in your eyes when you gaze into mine and
when
Your ruby lips kiss my flesh I feel like the embodiment
of Aquarius
For I want to pour love like liquid emotion on you and
toward me tug you
Like the sea will caress your hair and pull yet not tear
you closer too.
Feel my hands reach for you and now breathe deeply,
beautiful woman,
For we share the eternal passion forged amidst sparkling
stars.
Your silky response on the edge of the deep waters is
mine.
Though you shake and shiver and cry, still the silent
turquoise sky
In her response to your silver sighs lets you never
close your eyes.
Yes there is beauty in the morning and beauty at the
sunset,
But the light in you is what I speak of in this hour.
The nectar of our love will fill your heart with joy and
you to me
Are the sweetest fruit that on the Tree of Life I see.
