Wild Man's Song for a Lady

Open your eyes and kiss me twice.

Once for the distance crossed,

   again for Eternity's sake.

Come hold me tightly and be mine,

   beautiful child of the sublime.

Feel your tender breast upon my chest

   so warmly pressed.

Feel my body tautly wrapping arms of love

   around your shoulders.
I will by my tingling touch

   awaken dreams nobody else knows.
Nobody else can feel me present as you do,

   honey-eyed beauty.
I am the wild man
whose unfettered passion

      pours for you,

Whose clear eyed primal strength

   will lift you,

Whose touch will stir your womanly ways

    and possess you;
For you were born for me and your heart tells you.
Wander not the streets

   and seek not strange love;
There is no match in any other man for you,
For you are a wild woman

   of fiery desire like mine,
And unless my blazing torch
touch you

   you will be cold.
Cast not your beautiful body

       into a lesser man's arms.
There is no other who can

      like me cherish your charms.
Upon your skin
I did begin

       a serenade just yesterday,
And I have yet
to teach you

   songs I want to play.
No other woman
can be your equal now, Love.
You are my Aeolian harp

just like Ulysses had his bow,
And I await
your growing passion

   with manly patience,
For you will cry
in dissatisfaction

   until I kiss you,
Until my hungry hands again

   stroke you tenderly,
And my hot breath
on your neck

   makes you quiver in delight,

When I excite you and you

so sweetly evoke my kisses with

the passion your love loves to give me.

My hand is closer, take it now --

   surrender, sweet lady!
